The SBA and the Government Shutdown

 

For more information on how the current government shutdown is affecting the SBA, the New York Times reports:

For the Small Business Administration, the government shutdown is not as complete as one might think. Nearly 40 percent of the agency’s employees remain on the job, according to a shutdown plan published on the agency’s Web site. But even so, the agency has stopped processing regular small-business loans, leaving would-be borrowers in limbo.
